Wofai Fada’s Marriage Saga Continues As Her Father In-law Disowns Her Husband For Marrying An Older Woman

The Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos, has denounced the marriage of their son, Taiwo, to actress and comedian, Wofai Ewa, in a traditional ceremony in Ugep, Cross River State.

In a statement issued by the family patriarch, Kunle Cole, which has since gone viral, the family dissociated themselves from the union, saying they were unaware of the marriage plans and did not grant consent or support.

“This serves to notify all acquaintances, family and friends that the Cole family of Victoria Island, Lagos, are not aware of any marriage ceremony of our son,Taiwo Olakitan Cole; neither did we grant permission nor support in this regard,” the statement read.

Yahaya Bello Paid Abuja American School $800k From 80 Billion Naira Fraud

Yahaya Bello allegedly paid $720,000 in advance as fees for five of his children from the coffers of the Kogi state government.

The children are in grade level 2 to 8 at the school. On April 17, EFCC operatives laid siege to Bello’s residence in Abuja in an attempt to arrest him over an alleged N80.2 billion fraud.

The school said it will draw the attention of the anti-graft agency if there are any further deposits by the Bello family.

Businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, was, Wednesday, arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos for alleged spraying and tampering with naira notes at social events.

Cubana chief priest, who pleaded not guilty to the charge was, however, admitted to bail in the sum of N10 million with two sureties in like sum.

Cubana chief priest, is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
